Sen. Abdul’Aziz Yari Constituency Office, Talata Mafara, has commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing Alhaji Lawal Liman as Chairman, Governing Board of Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Shika Zaria.
The Coordinator of the constituency office, Alhaji Sha’aya’u Sarkinpawa stated this in a statement issued to newsmen in Gusau on Friday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Sen. Yari represents Zamfara West Senatorial District on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).
Zamfara west senatorial district comprised six Local Government Areas of Anka, Bakura, Bukkuyum, Gummi, Maradun and Talata Mafara.
Sarkinpawa said: “Liman as a Chairman, Sen. Yari’s Political Organisation and former Chairman Zamfara APC chapter is well qualified to discharge the assignment given to him diligently.
“This appointment is a great honour not only to Zamfara APC chapter but also the entire people of the state.
“I am confident that Liman’s capacity and experience in health sector as a former Commissioner of Health and his experience in other sectors at various positions will aid in taking the hospital to next level of development.”
He said the appointment came at the right time when personalities of repute, integrity, sincerity, honesty and capacity were highly needed to support President Tinubu’s administration to secure the future of the country.
“On behalf of myself and the entire staff of Sen. Yari’s constituency office, I pray for Hon. Liman to deliver the national assignment given to him efficiently and effectively,” the coordinator prayed.
