The University of Port Harcourt Business School (UPBS) is set to host its 2025 Workshop with the theme “Navigating Global Realities in a Disruptive Economy.” The workshop will run from Wednesday, 3rd to Friday, 5th September 2025, at the Osborn La-Palm Royal Resort, GRA Phase 3, Port Harcourt, beginning daily at 9:00 a.m.

The event will be officially hosted by the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, Professor Owunari Abraham Georgewill, who will serve as the Chief Host. Distinguished members of the University Management will also play key roles, including the Deputy Vice-Chancellors, University Librarian, Bursar, Registrar, and Directors of various units, reflecting the University’s strong institutional support for the workshop.

The Keynote Speaker is Engr. Dr. Emmanuel Audu-Ohwavbirua, Chairman of Emospark Group and Group Executive Director (Technical & Operations) of Emenite Electric Limited. His expertise and industry experience are expected to provide participants with practical insights into navigating the challenges of today’s fast-changing global economy.
