The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), Prof. Owunari Georgewill, has received a comprehensive report addressing antisocial behaviour, drug abuse, and other vices on campus.

Speaking on the development, Prof. Georgewill stated, “We received the report of the Committee set up by management to review cases of antisocial behaviours, drug abuse, and other vices on campus.”

He commended the Committee, chaired by Professor Frank-Peterside, for its thorough work, describing the report as “robust” and capable of making a significant impact. “The Chairperson of the Committee, Professor Frank-Peterside, led her committee to submit the robust report whose implementation will go a long way in addressing the issues in question,” he noted.

According to the Vice-Chancellor, the university’s management and Senate will carefully review the report’s recommendations before making informed decisions.

“The Management and the Senate of the University will meet to discuss the report and the recommendations contained within and make appropriate decisions,” he assured.

Prof. Georgewill also expressed appreciation for the committee’s efforts, stating, “We thank the committee for a job well done.”
