The National Coordinator of SERVICOM, Mrs. Nnenna Akajemeli, has reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to improving service delivery in government institutions, ensuring that Nigerians receive the quality service they deserve.
Speaking at the Stakeholders’ Sensitisation Workshop on Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) in Abuja on Thursday, Akajemeli emphasized the importance of functional and effective feedback systems within Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
The workshop, organized by SERVICOM Management, aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills to design and implement efficient grievance redress mechanisms.
“We are committed to ensuring that Nigerians are served right, and that’s what Mr. President desires in all MDAs,” Akajemeli stated.
She highlighted the Federal Government’s dedication to enhancing public service experiences by ensuring that grievance systems are not only in place but also effective and impactful.
“These systems will allow citizens to voice their concerns and commendations, fostering transparency, inclusivity, and continuous service improvement,” she added.
Akajemeli noted that the workshop provided a platform for government agencies to discuss challenges, share successes, and exchange lessons learned in managing feedback and complaints.
Also speaking, Mrs. Ngozi Akinbolewa, Head of Operations at SERVICOM, stressed the importance of structured feedback mechanisms, pointing out that many MDAs lack proper systems for handling and analyzing complaints.
Mrs. Nnenna Akpala, SERVICOM Nodal Officer at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), highlighted the need for improved customer service, emphasizing that treating complaints with respect is key to effective service delivery.
The event also featured the unveiling of the GRM handbook and the SERVICOM Service Charter.
