Tesla has launched a new attraction in Los Angeles that is turning heads and drawing crowds far beyond the electric vehicle community. The Tesla Diner opened in July 2025 on Santa Monica Boulevard and brings together a classic 1950s look with futuristic technology to create an entertainment and charging hub unlike anything else in the city.

The diner offers American favorites such as burgers fries pies and milkshakes but what makes it unique is the experience. There are 75 V4 Supercharger stalls and giant LED movie screens where visitors can enjoy films while their cars recharge. Orders can be placed through an app that syncs with Tesla vehicles and meals are delivered directly to car windows turning charging downtime into a social and cultural event.

Tesla has added plenty of spectacle to keep fans excited. Customers receive burgers in Cybertruck shaped boxes, roller skating servers deliver ice cream, and even the Optimus robot has been spotted serving popcorn. For many visitors the diner feels less like a restaurant and more like an interactive theme park for Tesla fans and pop culture enthusiasts.

The opening weeks were met with overwhelming demand leading to long waits and system glitches. Within days Tesla scaled back its menu to a smaller selection of sandwiches, sides, pies, shakes, and drinks to keep up with demand. Despite the hiccups the diner continues to attract large crowds eager to experience the blend of nostalgia and innovation.

Elon Musk has suggested that more Tesla Diners could be built in the future with potential locations including Texas near the SpaceX Starbase. If the Hollywood diner is any indication Tesla is aiming to turn charging stations into destinations where technology, entertainment, and community come together.
