George Russell dominated the Singapore Grand Prix with a commanding drive from start to finish, delivering Mercedes a long-awaited victory under the Marina Bay lights. The race, held in sweltering heat and humidity, pushed drivers to their limits as Formula 1 marked its first official “heat hazard” event.

Russell maintained his composure throughout, keeping Max Verstappen and Lando Norris behind him despite several safety car interruptions. Verstappen fought hard for second place, while Norris’s podium secured McLaren enough points to seal the Constructors’ Championship for the second consecutive year.

Lewis Hamilton, Russell’s teammate, dropped down the order after receiving multiple track limit penalties, costing Mercedes valuable points. The challenging conditions saw several drivers struggle with tire degradation and dehydration, making Russell’s consistency even more impressive.

The Singapore Grand Prix highlighted the blend of endurance, strategy, and raw speed that defines modern Formula 1. As the championship continues, Russell’s victory and McLaren’s dominance set the tone for a thrilling conclusion to the season.
