The Rangers International Football Club Foundation has launched a youth-focused initiative aimed at nurturing talent and fostering resilience among children and young people.
The Chairman of the Foundation, Ebere Amaraizu, disclosed this in an interview with correspondence on Monday in Enugu.
He explained that the programme, tagged “INSPIRE ME,” is a strategic effort to encourage innovation and resourcefulness among youths for long-term development.
According to Amaraizu, a certified sports coach, the initiative is structured around a psycho-social support framework designed to actively engage children and young individuals.
“It is being implemented in partnership with the Campus Technology Life Initiative, Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation, Coli Mental Health Academy, and Carmelite Prisoners Interest Organisation,” he said.
He noted that “INSPIRE ME” aims to instill critical thinking skills, resilience, self-discovery, and social inclusiveness to help young people reach their full potential.
As a certified Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) coach, Amaraizu emphasized that the program also aims to promote discipline, moral values, and ethical renewal in communities.
He expressed confidence that the initiative would transform youths into valuable assets by steering them away from negative influences and equipping them for sustainable, positive growth.
