Mr David Abuluya, Founder, Nacabs Polytechnic Akwanga, Nasarawa State, has restated his commitment to provide quality education in the institution.

Abuluya gave the assurance while receiving the Best Private Polytechnic 2025 Certificate of Credence/Award on Wednesday evening in Akwanga.

Abuluya said that the institution would not compromise standards for the overall development of the education sector.

The award was presented to the school by the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS).

He appreciated the association for the award, saying that the award will spur him to do more for better education in the country.

Abuluya said that the management was determined to make the school a world-class polytechnic.

“I have equipped almost all departments with modern facilities to create an enabling environment for teaching and learning.

“We are doing our best, as we have qualified academic and non-academic staff,” he said.

Abuluya, who is also the Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Nasarawa State, said that more than 80 per cent of his students were on scholarship.

Earlier, Mr Ridwan Opeyemi, the National President of NAPS, said the award was based on the institution’s infrastructural development and quality education.

“We are here to present the Certificate of Credence to Nacabs Polytechnic Akwanga as the Best Private Polytechnic, 2025.

“It is in recognition of the Nacabs contribution to the development of polytechnic and technical education in Nigeria.

“We don’t just give awards; we went round private polytechnics across the country to assess their infrastructural development.

“We also interacted with officials of the Students Union Government (SUG) and students of polytechnics across the country,” he said.

Opeyemi, who is a student of Federal Cooperative College, Kaduna, commended Nacabs Polytechnic for providing a conducive environment for teaching and learning.

The national president urged the lecturers and students to continue to give the founder and management team their maximum support to succeed.
