The University of Port Harcourt has congratulated Ignatius Ajuru University of Education on the successful hosting of its 43rd Convocation Ceremony, held for the conferment of degrees and diplomas across multiple academic levels.

In a goodwill message delivered at the ceremony and obtained by StarReporters correspondents, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, Professor Owunari Georgewill, praised the university community for what he described as a remarkable convocation exercise.

“We participated in the 43rd Convocation Ceremony of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education for the award of Bachelor’s Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas, Master’s Degrees, Doctor of Philosophy Degrees and Honorary Doctorate Degrees,” Professor Georgewill stated.

He extended special commendation to the Acting Vice Chancellor of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Professor Okechukwu Onuchukwu, along with the institution’s management, Senate, staff and students for the seamless organisation and success of the event.

“We wish all the graduates a very bright future,” he added.

The event drew notable academic and institutional leaders, with a large turnout of graduands and guests filling the convocation venue. Ceremonial colours and academic regalia adorned the setting, underscoring the significance of the academic milestone.

The convocation marked another chapter in Ignatius Ajuru University of Education’s history as it continues its mission of advancing teacher education and professional development in Nigeria.
