The Kano State Police Command has rescued three kidnapped victims and recovered several exhibits in two separate operations.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the command’s spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, in Kano on Friday.
According to him, the command’s Anti-Kidnapping Squad, working with other units, carried out the rescue operations in Kaduna State, where the victims were being held.
He said the victims had since been reunited with their families and were receiving medical attention.
The Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Bakori, directed that the victims be given immediate medical care and assured that those responsible would be tracked down and prosecuted.
The command commended the officers involved in the operations and expressed appreciation to the public for their continued support, urging citizens to promptly report any suspicious activity.
