One David Chiahemba, 26, who allegedly stole an iphone valued at N190,000, was brought before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan on Monday.
Chiahemba, whose address was not provided was arraigned for stealing, but pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against him.
The Prosecutor, Insp Femi Omilana told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Nov. 27, at 8.00 p.m, at Eleyele area of Ibadan.
Omilana said the defendant stole one iPhone worth N190, 000, property of Olusola Olatubosun.
He said the offence contravened Section 390(9) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The Magistrate, Mrs Gladys Oladele granted the defendant bail in the sum of N50,000 and one reliable surety in like sum.
She thereafter adjourned the case until Jan. 28, 2025, for hearing.
