OIn a bid to enhance the effectiveness of his administration, Chijioke Ihunwo, the chairman of Obio Akpor Local Government, officially sworn in seven new supervisors along with several special advisers during a recent ceremony.
In his address at the swearing-in event, Ihunwo emphasized the importance of diligence and accountability, warning the newly appointed supervisors against laxity and inefficiency. He urged them to view their roles as a vital opportunity to drive the development of the local government area, rather than an occasion for complacency.
Ihunwo also made it clear that loyalty to the administration of Governor Fubara is non-negotiable. He reiterated that any attempts to undermine his leadership would not be tolerated, stating that those who seek to sabotage the administration will be promptly removed from their positions.
The newly inaugurated supervisors include Abigail Chiorlu-Ejukwa, Bright Eke, Fredrick Ihuigwe, Gershion Agbaraka, Bright Owabie, Ichemati Odum, and Jennifer Odum.
