Noel Gallagher is opening up about the emotional and triumphant return of Oasis, and it’s been quite a ride. After repairing years of icy silence, he admitted his brother Liam is doing an unforgettable job as frontman. “He’s smashing it,” Noel said, adding “I’m proud of him.” That praise may not seem earth shaking, but coming from Noel—more known for biting quips—that kind of praise speaks volumes.

For Noel, the tour has been tough emotionally and physically. He confessed to being overwhelmed the moment he stepped onstage in Cardiff, feeling his legs turn to jelly just minutes into the first show. Having fronted his own band for 16 years, he’s no stranger to performing—but standing beside Liam again was an entirely different experience. Still, it’s been special. “It is great being back in a band with Liam,” he said, noting how much he’d missed his humor onstage.

So far, the tour has been a massive success. Packed stadiums, sold-out dates, scenes of joy, and even a touching brotherly hug that had fans cheering. Noel plans to reflect on what it all means later, but for now, he’s basking in the energy of shows and the connection with Liam and fellow bandmate Bonehead.

With the tour heading overseas to North America, South America, Asia, and beyond, Noel’s praise for Liam only becomes more meaningful. The past may have been rocky, but right now Oasis is back, and both brothers seem to be thriving in the glow of rediscovery.
