Nalsonic Academy celebrated its annual Inter-House Sports Competition on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Jubilant Z Integrated Schools, showcasing its commitment to fostering academic, physical, and moral growth in students.

Proprietress Mrs. Charity C. Nwosu, in her keynote address, stressed the importance of a “total child” education, stating, “A child who is mentally and emotionally sound but not physically fit may struggle with life’s challenges.”

The event featured four houses named after precious stones: Beryl (White), symbolizing healing and led by patrons Mr. and Mrs. Humble Uchenna and Mr. and Mrs. Maduabuchi Uchegbu; Diamond (Yellow), representing endurance under Surv. and Mrs. Blessing Udeme; Emerald (Blue), denoting prosperity supervised by Inspector and Mrs. Lucky Odibo; and Ruby (Red), embodying courage helmed by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Imhangue.

Mrs. Nwosu highlighted the school’s achievements, including a student’s top performance in the 2024 Basic School Certificate Examination (BECE) and consistent wins in regional sports competitions.

She credited the academy’s Wednesday and Friday physical activities for students’ fitness, noting, “Our children hardly fall sick.”

However, she acknowledged challenges such as inadequate sports facilities and urged parents to prioritize moral training. “Your pursuit for money should not replace parental responsibility” she said.

The proprietress thanked dignitaries, including the event chairman, Chief Peter Njoku, of the Pilgrim Clinic and Medical Laboratory, and sponsors Mr. Victor Ayengbe of JB Publishing and Mr. Chukwubuzor Chinonso Celestine for their financial and moral support.

Starreporters report that attendees witnessed displays of athleticism and teamwork, which further reinforced the school’s motto, “For Morals and Excellence.”

Mrs. Nwosu concluded by urging continued community support “With your help, we shall achieve more,” she noted.
