The Kwara Government says it has procured 30 new transformers to enhance electricity supply, economic activities and social services across the state.

The Commissioner for Energy, Mr Kola AbdulGaniy, disclosed this on Monday in Ilorin while receiving the second batch of 14 transformers. He said the first batch of 16 had been delivered on Aug. 15.

AbdulGaniy said the initiative underscored the administration’s commitment to citizens’ welfare and security, stressing that access to reliable electricity remained critical for community development and economic growth.
