Grammy-winning Nigerian music star Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has been announced as part of the lineup for the 2025 Dreamville Festival in North Carolina, United States.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that American rapper and festival founder, J. Cole, unveiled the headlining artists on Dreamville’s official website.

The two-day music festival is set to take place on April 5 and 6 at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina.

According to J. Cole, he will headline the event alongside Lil Wayne, Tems, 21 Savage, Erykah Badu, and other top artists.

Notably, Tems—who recently won the Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance for her song Love Me Jeje—is the only African-based artist featured on this year’s lineup.

The Love Me Jeje hitmaker is set to take the global stage once again, joining some of the biggest names in the U.S. music industry at the festival.

NAN reports that the Dreamville Festival is an outdoor music celebration curated by internationally acclaimed hip-hop star J. Cole and his Dreamville team.

The festival serves as Dreamville’s signature annual event, drawing fans from around the world while also bringing together local residents and travelers to enjoy electrifying performances.

As one of North Carolina’s most anticipated events, the festival enhances the city of Raleigh’s cultural landscape while promoting community, diversity, and inclusivity.

Beyond its cultural significance, Dreamville Festival has gained a reputation for its carefully curated lineup, blending globally recognized headliners with rising stars each year.
