Gov. Uba Sani of Kaduna State has called on all eligible residents to actively participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise, describing it as vital to strengthening democracy and inclusive governance.
In a statement by the Commissioner for Information, Malam Ahmed Maiyaki, on Monday, the governor directed that no eligible citizen should be left out of the registration process. “This is not only about participation; it is about securing the democratic rights of our people and deepening inclusive governance,” he said.
Maiyaki disclosed that the Ministry of Information, in collaboration with the Ministry of Local Government Affairs, the Bureau of Religious Affairs, and traditional and religious leaders, was working to ensure awareness reaches every community.
He said the mobilisation reflects the governor’s people-centred vision where every voice counts, while urging community leaders, youth groups, women organisations and civic actors to drive mass participation.
