President Bola Tinubu’s wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has called on Nigerian women to prioritise their health as the world marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
October is observed annually as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, dedicated to global campaigns on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of the disease.
Through her charitable organisation, the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), Mrs Tinubu emphasised the importance of regular health checks and early detection in a message issued on Monday in Abuja.
*“As women, mothers, sisters, and daughters, our health must remain a priority. Early detection saves lives; regular self-examination and timely medical screening are key in the fight against breast cancer.
“This month, let us raise awareness, support survivors, and encourage one another to take proactive steps for better health. Let us work together to stay healthy. Happy Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2025,”* she said.
