The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos has dismissed recent moves by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and its allied opposition figures, describing the coalition as lacking in structure, substance, and credibility.

According to a statement issued by APC spokesman Seye Oladejo, the ADC is a “stillborn political experiment” made up of political journeymen seeking relevance ahead of the 2027 elections.

Oladejo said the coalition’s repositioning was nothing more than recycled rhetoric, lacking ideology, vision, or grassroots support.

He said the Lagos APC observed the recent statements and posture of the ADC with concern, calling them a “confused chorus of envy-driven criticism” and a desperate move to remain visible in Nigeria’s political space.

The APC spokesman accused the ADC of being a haven for discontented politicians unwilling to engage in genuine public service, adding that its attempt to emerge as an alternative platform was without legitimacy or public appeal.

He maintained that Nigeria’s political atmosphere required meaningful contributions and patriotism, not noise or unstable alliances.

Oladejo also pointed out that some coalition members still held membership in their previous political parties, describing the situation as “political bigamy” and a ploy to mislead Nigerians.

He urged citizens to reject coalitions built solely on ambition and to support leadership rooted in experience, policy clarity, and national unity.

He said the APC in Lagos remained focused on supporting national reforms and delivering real governance in line with President Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda.
