Nigerian actress and film producer, Omoni Oboli, has sparked reactions on social media with a playful request following the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).

In a humorous post on her Instagram page, @omonioboli, she shared: “Now that AMVCA is over, please, I need a favour; those clothes people wore, can they borrow me? I need to shoot a big wedding scene in a movie, and they will be nice as costumes.”

The post, which appeared light-hearted, quickly gained traction, with fans and colleagues flooding the comment section with laughter, heart-eye emojis, and playful offers of assistance.

One follower, @mbasitijesse, jokingly offered to tag the celebrities whose outfits she admired. Another, @menathomaz, suggested that the stars come dressed as wedding guests for the scene.

Meanwhile, @ify_o, also offered to help gather the costumes, especially if they were going to be used for ‘Odogwu and Achalugo’s wedding’ scene.

Starreporters gathered that Oboli’s popularity surged recently with her Nollywood movie, ‘Love in Every Word’, which garnered over 24 million views on YouTube in just two months. The names Odogwu and Achalugo were used by the leading characters, Obiora and Chioma, in the romantic drama.
