Vincent Rueben, the chairman of Abua/Odual Local Government Area (LGA), has reiterated his dedication to the development of the region. During an inspection of several dilapidated structures within the LGA, Rueben emphasized the importance of maintaining peace in the area to ensure a successful festive season.

As part of his initiatives, Rueben announced that the Abolga mass transit will provide free transportation for residents from December 22 to December 25, 2024, and again from December 29 to December 31, 2024. This move is aimed at facilitating holiday travel for indigenes during the Christmas celebrations.

In addition to his transport initiative, the council chairman has taken proactive steps to engage with the youth of his community. He has established a student database committee, headed by Dr. Goodluck Miniwari, to account for all sons and daughters of Abua/Odual LGA currently studying in tertiary institutions across the country.

Vincent Rueben stated that his efforts are in alignment with the policies of Governor Siminalayi Fubara, aimed at delivering tangible benefits of democracy to the people of Abua/Odual.
