The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, has firmly rejected a proposal by United States President Donald Trump to relocate Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Egypt and Jordan.
Hamas described the plan as an “aggressive scheme” designed to displace Palestinians and undermine their national cause in a statement released on Monday.
The group stated that the Palestinian people, who have endured genocide and forced displacement by the Israeli occupation, particularly in northern Gaza, remain steadfast in their commitment to their land and historical rights.
“The Palestinians would not accept any plan that seeks to uproot or displace them,” Hamas asserted.

The movement also urged the U.S. administration to halt its support for Israeli policies that violate Palestinian rights.
In addition, Hamas called on Arab and Islamic nations, particularly Egypt and Jordan, to reaffirm their opposition to any displacement of Palestinians and to support their resilience.
“They should support by assisting in rebuilding Gaza and strengthening their presence on their land,” Hamas said.
