University of Port Harcourt Management Visits Wigwe University in Collaborative Mentoring Effort
In a significant step towards fostering academic excellence, the Management of the University of Port Harcourt, along with the Provost and several Deans of faculty, conducted a working tour of the newly established Wigwe University. This visit marks a vital component of the mentoring process aimed at supporting the growth and development of the nascent institution.
The delegation was impressed by the state-of-the-art facilities and the thoughtfully designed layout of Wigwe University, which is quickly establishing itself as a hub for higher learning. During the tour, the team engaged with the university’s management, faculty, and students, gaining valuable insights into the operational dynamics and academic environment.
Currently, Wigwe University offers approximately 23 academic programs, and students were observed to be in high spirits, actively participating in an educational atmosphere that promotes effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
