Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has called on those in positions of trust to use their offices to improve the lives of the people rather than catering to personal interests or favoring friends and associates.

While commissioning the Okocha Road and Spurs in Rumuolumeni, Governor Fubara expressed the importance of equitable development across all communities, regardless of whether residents voted for him.

At the inauguration ceremony, former Senator John Mbata emphasized that politicians should aim to be remembered for their positive contributions to society.

Earlier, Chijioke Ihunwo, the Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government, reported to Governor Fubara that the reconstruction of the road has addressed the community’s needs.

In addition, our Government House correspondent Racheal Ramson notes that the governor has directed the Commissioner for Education to urgently visit the Community Secondary School in the area and take necessary actions to expand capacity for more students.
