Elon Musk confirmed that he was invited to attend a White House summit with major technology leaders but chose not to appear in person. The gathering which took place in the newly renovated Rose Garden was hosted to bring top executives together for discussions on artificial intelligence and the future of technology. Musk stated that while he would not be attending himself a representative would be present on his behalf.
The summit brought together an impressive lineup of influential figures including Apple’s Tim Cook, Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft co founder Bill Gates, Google’s Sundar Pichai and OpenAI’s Sam Altman. The event was also marked by the launch of an AI education initiative led by First Lady Melania Trump. Although President Trump recently praised Musk as a good person and described him as eighty percent super genius the relationship has cooled considerably.
