Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has announced the approval for the employment of more than 1,000 healthcare workers, marking the first such initiative in the sector in the past eight years.
During a recent event, the Chief Medical Director of the Rivers State Hospitals Management Board, Dr. Bright Ogbonda, revealed that the first batch of over 500 successful candidates has already received their appointment letters. He emphasized that this recruitment will significantly enhance the human capacity of the state’s healthcare system.
Beneficiaries who received their appointment letters expressed gratitude to Governor Fubara for prioritizing the healthcare sector, highlighting the positive impact this will have on healthcare delivery in Rivers State.
