Pastor Idowu Shedrach of The Disciples Church, Ilorin, has advised youths in the country to set goals ahead of the new year and shun laziness.
Shedrach, who gave the advise in Ilorin on Friday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), said youths must plan their targets in 2025 and work toward achieving it, rather than being idle.
According to him, most youths are confused and fail to set goals for themselves, just living without focus.
He said “let the year 2025 be different. Set your targets and work toward achieving them. Don’t give room for idleness.
“Shun laziness and don’t wait for government to do everything for you. You can make things work when you are determined.
“Rather than being desperate to make quick money or indulging in vices, focus on your goals and work towards it.”
The cleric also appealed to youths to embrace discipline and hard work to achieve set goals.
